The Club enjoys a very active participation within the Town of Southbury:

bulletA Garden Therapy Workshop was held in June to decorate and fill baskets for Safe Haven, a local organization that helps people attempting to leave abusive relationships.

  


    



      

bulletCertificates of Appreciation are awarded to businesses for landscaping efforts.
bulletSpring and summer annuals are planted in large wooden containers in front of
the Probate Court Building.
bulletDecorated Christmas wreaths are made for all Town buildings.
bulletThe Herb Garden at the Bent of the River Audubon Center is planted and maintained by the Garden Club.
bulletCommunity Gardens - the Club maintains five gardens at four Southbury locations: one garden at the entrance and one at the exit of Ballantine Park, one at Ewald Park, one at Seman Park, and the garden at Bullet Hill School.
