Meanwhile, the gardening gods smiled down upon the SGC's 10th Annual Spring Plant Sale on May 15, 2010. Sunny skies and temperatures in the low seventies provided perfect shopping weather for the many customers eager to acquire special specimens for their summer gardens.

Special thanks to our amazing co-chairmen, Jane Edwards and Carol Shaw, whose hard work and organizational skills made this huge event run smoothly. They’ve also agreed to co-chair this event in 2011.

This is the club's largest fundraising event of the year and the vast majority of members contributed in so many ways that is impossible to name them all...you know who you are.

It was gratifying to hear so many shoppers say that they look forward to our sale all year because we not only provide such a wide variety of plants, but also are so friendly and helpful. Several ladies even wanted more information about become members.

Well done ladies...now we can all look forward to next year!
