The Southbury Garden Club founded in 1959, is an educational, charitable, nonprofit organization.  The Club is affiliated with The National Garden Clubs, Inc., The Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut, Inc., and The New England Region of National Garden Clubs, Inc.  The goals of the club are to promote interest in horticulture, further the conservation of natural resources, increase knowledge in the artistic use of plant material, and assist in civic programs.
Meetings are held on the first Friday of each month from March through December with an annual luncheon meeting in December.  All meetings are open to area residents, and a small donation is requested.
