The club is a member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc., New England Region of Garden Clubs, Inc., and Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut, Inc. SGC is also a member of the following organizations via donations: Audubon Bent of the River, Friends of the Southbury Public Library, and the Southbury Land Trust.

Our premier fundraising event each year is a plant sale in mid-May, which is held on the town green. This event is well-known for the high quality of the plants sold, most of which are grown by our members! In 2024, the sale will be held on Saturday, May 18.

SGC meets on the first Friday of the month at 11:30 AM from March to December at the Southbury Public Library. The meetings typically feature a business meeting followed by lunch and then a horticulture lecture (which is open to the public) or a floral design workshop. We also plan day trips and a holiday luncheon.

Membership is $45 for the year. Click on the application button to download the application.

We hope to see you at a meeting!

Thanks for visiting.
